360 Degree Rotational Ball Insert & Socket is part of our patent
application for good reason. The 360 degree rotation helps assist in
equal release pressure for the disable system regardless of it's position.
This also helps us achieve a smooth and fluid motion which reduces
binding and drag. You can also adjust the amount of release tension with a
simple turn of a household screwdriver, which allows the user to
customize their desired amount of release tension, and also helps assist
in easy re-insertion for the ball insert.

 According

ARMED
The
DeFuser is armed when the wrist strap is attached to the bottom of the
DeFuser. The viewing indicators on both sides of the DeFuser will be
Green assuring you the unit is armed and
ready to spray.
Remember that pepper spray won't help you if you don't have it with you, so
keep the Defuser pepper spray with you at all times!

DIS-ARMED
The
DeFuser is disarmed or disabled when the wrist strap is separated from the
bottom of the DeFuser. The viewing indicators on both sides of the DeFuser
will turn to Red
and the unit will become disabled. When the DeFuser is separated from the
strap it will not spray.

The truth is, Upon a forceful tug, the ball insert will pull out of the
socket activating the disable system. If such an event should occur, the
attacker won't be able to spray you with your own pepper spray.
Suppose the worst should happen and your walking to your car at night
through a dark parking lot, and you have the DeFuser attached to your key
ring. While unlocking your door the attacker approaches you from behind.
Immediately the attacker goes for your pepper spray, so they can avoid
being sprayed by you. If they should get the DeFuser from you, it will be
disabled so he/she can't use your weapon against you.
With standard pepper spray, the attacker could immediately disable you
with your own weapon, making it that much easier for the attacker to get
what they want. According to national statistics, in many cases your
weapon could actually make the criminals job easier. By taking the weapon
from you, they essentially end up with the weapon they need to disable
you. This is where the DeFuser comes in. You will be protected if such an
incident should occur.

With a simple turn of a household screwdriver
you can adjust the amount of tension it takes to disable the DeFuser. This
allows each user to customize it to the desired release tension. |
